Phillip Island MotoGP Results

Casey Stoner (Honda) rode to a convincing victory at his home race in Australia earlier today.   The big news, however, involved a crash by Dani Pedrosa (Honda) on the second lap that ended his championship hopes, and handed this year’s title to Spanish rival Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha).  With second place today, Lorenzo secures the championship with one round remaining.  Finishing third today was Cal Crutchlow (Yamaha).
